WHAT DOES CORE STAND FOR?

CORE represents the four pillars of our agency: Collaboration, Originality, Relationships, and Education.

HOW MANY SMARTFLYER ADVISORS ATTEND CORE?

We are thrilled to share that over 160 Smarties have confirmed to attend #SFCORE26! We will have advisors coming from the United States, Europe, and Australia. We cannot wait to bring everyone together!

HOW MANY ADVISORS DOES SMARTFLYER HAVE?

You may be surprised to learn that we’re made up of only 250 affiliate agencies worldwide. Our independent contractors are predominantly located in the United States with a handful in Europe as well as SmartFlyerAU in Australia.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR CORE?

We, as the Product & Partnerships Team, pride ourselves on being very communicative with our partners on all things CORE-related. Leading up to CORE you can expect to receive about one email a month leading up to the event, a pre-arrival checklist, and a first-timer guide to CORE to ensure all participating partners are prepared. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned pro, we’ve got you covered!

PARTICIPATION

CAN I BRING A +1 TO CORE?

Yes. Please see your invite for the inclusion costs and details of another brand representative.

ARE ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDED IN MY PARTICIPATION FEE?

No, the cost for accomodations is not included in your participation fee. We’ve secured discounted rates at our host hotel the Regent Santa Monica Beach, as well as Shutters on the Beach and Hotel Casa del Mar and as a part of your RSVP, we’ll ask you to rank your preference. Alternatively, if you have a sister property/brand in the are you’d like to stay with, you’re welcome to do so, we just ask you let us know at time of RSVP.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY PARTICIPATION FEE?

Each participation tier has slightly different inclusion, please refer to your invitation for the details.

ON-THE-GROUND

WHEN SHOULD I PLAN TO ARRIVE AND DEPART?

Recommended arrival day is the morning or early afternoon of Tuesday, January 20th and recommended departure day is Friday, January 23rd. For our partners traveling internationally, we recommend you arrive on Monday, January 19th however please note, no official programing is scheduled on this date.

WHERE WILL CORE PROGRAMMING TAKE PLACE?

We are thrilled to have exclusive access to our CORE hotel, the Regent Santa Monica Beach. Programming will take place throughout the property’s unique spaces across three days. Don’t worry, we’ve left time to ensure you’ll be able to get out and explore the beautiful Santa Monica area as well!

WILL THERE BE PROGRAMMING ON ALL DATES?

As you arrange your travel plans, here is a snapshot of what you can expect on the ground:

  • Monday, January 19th: Recommended day for International Arrivals, no formal programming

  • Tuesday, January 20th: Main Arrival day with CORE programming kicking off mid-afternoon

  • Wednesday, January 21st: Day One programming to include morning Study Hall

  • Thursday, January 22nd: Day Two programming to include our evening closing event

  • Friday, January 23rd: Departures, no formal programming

WHAT IS MORNING STUDY HALL?

Our version of tradeshow-style networking, you'll be paired with our Smarties based on their specific books of business. We'll do the homework to run reports to see who's best suited to meet with you during your time together–all you have to do is be present!

Morning Study Hall includes eighteen dedicated 10-minute appointments with groups of 2-3 SmartFlyer agents per appointment. We recommend packing an iPad or Laptop (fully charged!): no banner stands or formal presentations, just a dedicated space for building connections.

WHAT IS A RELATIONSHIP DINNER AND HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

For those who’ve attended CORE in the past, you know that one of our most beloved traditions is our Relationship Dinner. This year, all participation tiers include a paired Relationship Dinner. Please see your invitation for the exact details based on your tier.

WILL THERE BE OPPORTUNITIES TO HOST PRE- OR POST-FAMS?

Our Smarties love to maximize their travel time by experiencing new products and destinations. You are welcome to organize a pre- or post- FAM, we ask that you please ensure that you and your attending advisors are at the full duration of our programming beginning the afternoon of Tuesday, January 20th through the evening of Thursday, January 22nd. There is no programming scheduled for Friday, January 23rd.

CAN I ATTEND ONLY A PORTION OF THE EVENT?

In the spirit of CORE and coming together, we kindly request that you attend the entirety of the event. Our full programming for #SFCORE26 takes place from the morning of January 20th through the evening of January 22nd.
